7 Recorder Setup Utilities

The TESLA recorder has global setup parameters that establish its identity and
define its operation. Setup parameters define:

• Unit identification

• Communication port parameters

• Record length and mode settings

• Time display and settings

• Analog input calibration

• Central Station trigger and record notification

• Passwords

The setup parameters are accessed through the

Utilities

tab on TES-

LA Control Panel. You must be communicating with the IED for the

Utilities

tab to be available.

For details on connecting to the recorder using TESLA Control Panel
