2.2 Scope of Delivery
The standard scope of delivery consists of :

2.3 Setting up and Connecting the variobike 500
On request, our service personnel will install the variobike for you.
• Loosen screws and clamp lever for clamp fixture, and remove upper clamp jaw;
Insert handlebar, secure, and screw tight with screws and tighten lightly with clamp lever.
Adjust appropriate handlebar position and then tighten position with clamp lever.
• Connect cable at the top of the steering column with the control panel;
Position control panel on support, and fix with screws.
• Connect the unit’s power plug via the supplied mains cable to power outlet with same voltage as
indicated at the indication label.
• If applicable, connect the ECG device to the RS232 interface.
2.4 Transport and Relocation
Once set up, you can easily move the variobike 500 to another location. Switch off the ergometer and
remove from the power supply !
Standing in front of the ergometer, grab the handlebars and tilt the variobike 500 towards you. When the
variobike is balanced on its front rollers, you can push it to the new desired location.
Caution when lowering ! Hard impact can damage the measurement electronics of the system!
