3.2 Starting a defined ergometry program
Once the ergometer is switched on, it is in ergometry mode using the previously set ergometry program.
Select the desired program using the arrow keys.
In LED-display „Prog“, the currently selected program number,
e.g. „2“ is displayed.
By pressing control button “START”, the ergometry program is started.
The ergometry begins with initial load Po.
3.3 The course of an ergometry
Each ergometry commences with initial load Po. The load is then increased according to programmed
load step value and load step interval value.
If the strain value exceeds 600 W in automatic mode, you are warned by the flashing of the display.
Values which can be read during an ergometry:
The following values are indicated at the control display during an ergometry:
Prog: current program number
Revolution/min: current pedal speed during ergometry
Time/min: ergometry time in minutes
Load/W: current load in watts
Heart Rate/min: current heart rate in beats per minute (only with POLAR receiver / chest belt)
