Important
This manual must be read before the sling is used. This manual is intended for therapists and other
personnel, in connection with the use and maintenance of Ergo slings.
Purpose
Ergolet´s Ergo slings can be used for transfers in home care, nursing homes, institutions and private homes.
Ergo slings are used to transfer people with physical or reduced mobility issues and for transfers from bed
to chair, from chair to bathing and toilet chair etc.
Check list before use
It is the carer’s responsibility to check the sling before use.

It must be ensured that the sling does not have any visible damages or wear and tear and that the sling
is clean.
 When the sling is used, qualified personnel must be present.

The capacity written on the sling must never be exceeded!
Lifetime
The sling can be washed 80-100 times, which corresponds to once a month in 6-8 years. The product’s
lifetime is expected to be 5-10 years, if service checks and the stated maintenance instructions have been
followed. It is the owner’s responsibility that the annual inspection is performed.
Materials
The slings are produced in durable materials and tolerate the necessary washing. All slings are produced in
polyester.
