Chapter 5 : Step-by-step configuration example
5.1
Device arrangement
The E430 is easy to setup, let’s suppose we have these devices:
Devices IP adresses:
E430
: ‘192.168.1.120’
E413
: ‘192.168.1.130’
E415
: ‘192.168.1.131’
E417
: ‘192.168.1.132’
5.2
Devices requirements
The E430
emitter
should have at least this configuration:
An announcements generator for E413, E415 and E417.
A scheduled generator for E417.
BGM music via an Icecast stream for any device connected to the network.
BGM – RTP stream for E413 and E415.
There are three
receivers
:
An E413 decoder, which will play periodical announcements from the E430 device, and BGM music from
the RTP stream.
An E415 decoder, which will also play the announcements, and BGM music from the Icecast stream or
the RTP stream in the meanwhile.
