‘Line’ Source type configuration
As for the microphone input, line input can be used in the E417 as source for one audio channel.
If it is used for one channel of the Advertisements or Emergency layers, the activation of the channel must
be triggered by the closure of one of the two input contacts. Select the desired input to be used in the
‘Activation’ field:

If there is another channel using one input contact to trigger the microphone input, the ‘Activation’ field
will let you choose only the other contact.
Also, if you are using the input contacts to control the volume of the BGM sources and try to create a
channel with the ‘Line’ source type, you’ll be prompted about the incompatibility and the possibility to
disable the volume control:
If the line input is used for a Background Music layer channel, the activation/deactivation is made
manually through the control mode of the web server or the TMH60ENA wall-mount controller. So, there
is no option to choose the activation contact:
