 ‘Continuous playlist’ Source type configuration 

This source type can be used in the  E417 for the Background Music channels to play MP3 files stored in 
the USB memory in a continuous loop. 

In the configuration from, you can choose the USB folder containing the files to be played and the playing 
mode:

To choose the USB folder containing the files to be played, press the  button   Open  , select it in the tree 
shown and press  Select . 

Folders  with  special  characters  (like  vowels  with  accent)  cannot  be  chosen.  Only  ASCII  characters  are 
supported. 

In the ‘Playing mode’ selector there are two choices: 

Normal: Files are played in alphabetical order.  

Random: Files are played in random order. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: In ‘normal’ mode, each time the device is restarted, the playing  starts from the first 
file in the folder.
