3.2.3 SG6TM Tool Capabilities and
Kit Contents
Spreading Force:
With the maximum torque of 108 N·m
[80 ft·lb] applied, each SG6TM can apply
6 T [60 kN] spreading force.
It is recommended that tools are used in
pairs positioned 180° apart, giving 2 x 6 T
= 12 T [120 kN].
The spreading force can be determined by
pre-setting the torque wrench. The torque
wrench settings will produce a spreading
force as set out below.
