3) XON/XOFF transmit timing

When XON/XOFF control is selected, this printer transmits XON or XOFF at

the following timings.

XON:

a) When the printer becomes ON-LINE after turning the power on.
b) When the receive buffer is released from the buffer-full state.
c) When the printer turns OFF-LINE to ON-LINE.

XOFF:

d) When the receive buffer becomes full.
e) When the printer turns ON-LINE to OFF-LINE.

when a mechanical error has occurred.

NOTES:

The XON

code is <11>H and XOFF code is <13>H.

In case of c), XON is not transmitted when the receive buffer is full.

In case of e), XOFF is not transmitted when the receive buffer is full.
