     Turn the key, to unlock the roll-paper cover, then open cover.

     Cut off the journal paper using a pair of scissors or the like. While pressing the

tab marked ‘PRESS’ on the release lever at the right side of the tear-off, re-

move the remaining roll paper by pulling it out in the direction of the arrow.

     Install new roll paper (refer to 3-2 Installing the Roll Paper).
     Close the roll paper cover: turn the key to lock the cover.
