6-1 Printer Control

Controlling the printer by commands

The printer is controlled by “commands’ that can change the size of the letters,

and other functions.

This allows you to modify letters and figures.

See APPENDIX D character code table.

There are two types of commands.
One-byte commands

Horizontal tab

Print and line feed

Several-bytes commands

ESC SP

Set character right-side spacing

ESC 3 n

Set line spacing to n/l44 inches
