Bring film a to the left side of film b. Pass the lead
edge of film a between the media guide bar and
after heater, and then insert it into the printer.

While checking at the front and rear of the
printer, align film a with film b tightly.
At the rear of the printer, attach a counterweight
to film a.

After film a stops swinging, record the value of
the scale on the front side of the white line of the
platen.

At the front and rear of the printer, raise film a
and move it so that it aligns with the right side of
film b tightly. After film a stops swinging, check
the scale where the front side of the white line of
the platen passes.
If the value is different from the left side, proceed
to Step 9. If the value is the same, proceed to Step
10.
