Backing Up Data from the Device onto
the Computer

Connecting the device to the computer

If you connect this device to the computer, the device
is recognized as an external HDD. Before connecting
to the computer, install the software from the
software CD-ROM. For details, see “Installing the
software” (page 15).

Connect the AC adapter.

Turn on this device and the computer.

Open the USB connector’s rubber cover and
connect the USB cable to this device. Then
connect the other end of the USB cable to the
computer.

The LCD turns off.
