You can load up to 100 sheets of plain paper in the MP tray,
250 sheets of plain paper in the standard lower paper cassette
and the 250-sheet lower paper cassette.

When you fill the paper over the triangle marks on the inside of
the tray or paper cassettes, you may have paper-feed problems.
7. Adjust the paper guides to the size of the paper, and set the
paper size switch according to the size of the paper you
loaded.
If you cannot find appropriate setting on the paper size
switch, set the switch to
Others and use the printer driver to
set the paper size. See “Loading an uncommon paper size” on
page 31 for more information.
Note:
You can set the paper size switch to
Others
only on the MP tray.

Caution:
Be sure to set the paper size switch according to the size of
the loaded paper. Otherwise, paper jams may occur.
