Problems using options

Paper does not feed from the optional 250-sheet lower paper
cassette

Cause

What to do

The paper source setting
may not be correct.

Be sure you have selected the correct
paper source in your software.

There may be no paper left
in the paper cassette.

Load it with paper.

Too many sheets may be
loaded in the paper
cassette.

Be sure that the optional 250-Sheet
Lower Paper Cassette Unit is
properly installed and that you have
not tried to load it with too many
sheets of paper. The cassette can hold
a maximum of 250 sheets of 64 g/m²
(17 lb) paper.
