Connecting the Printer to Your Computer

Connecting the Parallel Interface

To use the printer’s standard parallel interface, connect a shielded

parallel interface cable as described below.
1. Make sure that both your computer and printer are turned off.
2. Plug the cable connector securely into the parallel connector of

the printer.
