Installing Options

7. Reconnect the interface cable and power cord, then turn the

product on.

8. To confirm that the option is installed correctly, print a Status

Sheet. See “Printing a Status Sheet” on page 393.

When you have attached or removed product options, you need to
delete the product using

Print Setup Utility

(for Mac OS X 10.3)

Print Center

(for Mac OS X 10.2 or below), and then re-register

the product.

Removing the optional paper cassette unit

Perform the installation procedure in reverse.
