Settings for Windows 98/95

Introduction to Windows 98/95 Settings

This chapter explains TCP/IP (LPR) printing and NetBEUI
printing under Window 98 and Windows 95.

Supported systems

The supported systems are as follows:

❏

Printing via EpsonNet Direct Print (TCP/IP)

❏

Microsoft Windows Network (NetBEUI)

❏

Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). See Chapter 12, “EpsonNet
Internet Print.”

Printing with TCP/IP via EpsonNet Direct Print

Since Windows 98/95 do not support LPR printing, standard
TCP/IP printing cannot be used. However, you can print via
TCP/IP using the EpsonNet Direct Print utility. For detailed
information, see Chapter 10, “EpsonNet Direct Print.”
