The Printer does not Turn on or Stay on

If the Operate light does not come on and mechanism
initialization does not start (even when the

Power

button is

pressed to turn on the printer), try the solutions listed for the
corresponding problem.

❏

Turn off the power and make sure the power cord is securely
plugged into the printer.

❏

Make sure the power outlet works and is not controlled by a
wall switch or timer.

❏

Make sure the supplied voltage to the printer matches the
rated voltage label on the printer. If not, turn off the power
and unplug the power cord immediately. Contact EPSON for
assistance. See “Customer Information” on page B-2.

Caution:

If the supplied voltage and rated voltage do not match, do not
plug the printer back in again. Doing so could damage the printer.
