3.4.3.1 Menu “General Settings”
Setting P. Description
Allow remote control 1 Selection “ NO ” means that the device cannot be remotely controlled over either
the digital or analog interfaces. If remote control is not allowed, the status will be
shown as “ Local ” in the status area on the main display. Also see section 1.9.6.1
Analog interface range 1 Selects the voltage range for the analog set input values, monitoring outputs
and reference voltage output.
• 0...5 V = Range is 0...100% set /actual values, reference voltage 5 V
•
0...10 V
= Range is 0...100% set /actual values, reference voltage 10 V

Analog interface Rem-SB 2 Selects how the input pin “Rem-SB” of the analog interface shall be working
regarding levels and logic:
•
Normal
= Levels and function as described in the table in 3.5.4.3
• Inverted = Levels and function will be inverted

Analog Rem-SB action
2 Selects the action on the DC input that is initiated when changing the level of
analog input “Rem-SB”:
• DC OFF = the pin can only be used to switch the DC input off
• DC AUTO = the pin can be used to switch the DC input off and on again, if it
has been switched on before at least from a different control location
DC input after power ON
3 Determines the condition of the DC input after power-up.
• OFF = DC input is always off after switching on the device.
• Restore = DC input condition will be restored to the condition prior to switch off.
Voltage controller settings 3 Selects the regulation speed of the internal voltage regulator between “ Slow ”
and “
Fast
”. See „3.2.1.1. Speed of the voltage controller“
DC input after PF alarm 4 Determines how the DC input shall react after a power fail (PF) alarm has
occurred:
• OFF = DC input will be switched off and remain until user action
• Auto ON = DC input will switch on again after the PF alarm cause is gone
and if it was switched on before the alarm occurred
Enable R mode
5 Activates (“
Yes
”) or deactivates (“
No
”) the internal resistance control. If activated,
the resistance set value can be adjusted on the main screen as additional value.

Calibrate device 6 Touch area “ Start ” starts a calibration routine (see „4.4. Calibration“ ), but only
if the device is in U/I or P/I mode.
Reset device to defaults 7 Touch area “ Start ” will initiate a reset of all settings (HMI, profile etc.) to default
values, as shown in the menu structure diagrams on the previous pages, and
all set values to 0
Restart device
7 Will initiate a warm start of the device
Master-Slave mode 8 Option “ OFF ” (default) disables the master-slave mode (MS), while options
MASTER or SLAVE set the device to the selected position. For details about
the MS mode see section „3.10.2. Parallel operation in master-slave (MS)“
Device address 8 Assigns the device address between 1 and 9 for a slave in the MS system. A
master is automatically assigned address 0, which can not be changed.
PSI / ELR system 8 When activated by finger touch (check mark), it determines that the power
supply is part of a two-quadrant operation (2QO, see „3.10.3. Two quadrants
operation (2QO)“ ) system and thus it will be master on the Share bus, which
is required for a 2QO, because in 2QO, the power source unit has to be
master
