The on board flash equals “DSK1: Built-in Compact Flash Device”.
BE CAREFUL OF CLEAR/FORMAT IT! If the name on “Partitions” window
follows with “*”, that means this partition has been mounted.
Dismount partitions first for deleting it. You can manage partition space by
creating new partitions. Just deselect “Use all available disk space” and assign
quantities of sections for it. NOTE: each sector equals 512 bytes. Check out
“Flash N” folders in My Computer for your new partitions.
Registry:
Preserving personal setting and installed programs/drivers. We store registry tree
into on board flash to keep your setting from lose.
For example, the process of installing a device driver will copy some files to
windows folder and add registry keys. You can save files to the
FLASH directory during setup and registry keys here after you had make sure
no problem of it. Note: not every program can be saved; it depends on the
installed programs.
“Clear” button will to restore default setting by the manufacture but not back to
previous saved status.
