Alerts and Actions to be Taken
"Batteries at 30% charge level"
Reason:
The battery capacity is below 30%.
Action:
Check the battery level immediately to ensure that there is sufficient battery power for
the remainder of the shipment. It is recommended that the batteries be charged. Refer
to section "Charging".
"Inside temp out of spec"
Reason:
The temperature of the air inside the cargo space is outside the following alert limits
depending on set temperature:
- if set temperature is < 10°C: +/- 3°C (5,4°F)
- if set temperature is >= 10°C: +/- 5°C (9°F)
The reason for this could be that the ambient temperature has been
out of specification or that the door has been open recently.
Action:
Make sure the ambient temperature is inside specification, if not, move the
container to an area with temperatures within the specifications.
Make sure the door has been closed properly.
"Ambient temp out of spec"
Reason:
The ambient temperature is out of specification.
Action:
Make sure the "Inside temp out of spec" is not activated and move the container to an
area with temperature within the specifications.
"Comp X out of order" / "Comp X not starting"
Reason:
One of three redundant compressors has failed to start. Note that a perfectly
working compressor can fail to start due to the physics of the refrigerant. If so, the
alert disapper when compressor is started.
Action:
The container still works properly and the current shipment can be
completed without actions. Should the alert not dissaper at the next checkpoint, the
container should be repaired. The container should be given extra attention
until the alert has disappeared.
