Both of the Retreat faces will allow for up to a 1” (25 

mm) thick finishing wall (example drywall and tile); 

see Figure 20 & 21. The wall may be finished up to 

the  fireplace  standoffs  with  combustible  materials. 

This facing style should tuck under the bottom edge 

at the front bottom of the Retreat for concealment.
When  finishing  with  brick,  the  brick  must  frame 

around  the  outside  of  the  face  (see  Figure  22). 

See  the  corresponding  fascia  instruction  sheet  for 

approximate dimensions.
