 Surround Installation

NOTE: Stainless steel and glass components
retain fingerprints very well. Use the cotton
gloves supplied to help minimize smudg-
ing during installation.

Installation

1. Inspect the contents of the contents of

this kit and notify your dealer of any
damage or missing parts. Do not install
a damaged Surround assembly.

2.

Confirm height adjustment of the
fireplace insert.

 Use the Riser Brackets on

the insert to adjust the insert height as
required for the surround you are
installing. Note that clearance to a
combustible mantel is dependant upon
the height of the Surround. See fig. 2
and the tables below for specifications.

The Mantel Heat Shield must be in-
stalled unless non-combustible materi-
als are used.

3. Remove the Air Deflector by loosening

the two hex nuts with the 7 mm wrench
or socket driver. Set aside for re-installa-
tion later. See fig. 2.

•   Stainless Steel or Powder Coated Surround Panel
•   Sliding Glass Panel
•   Mantel Heat Shield
•   Glass Brackets, (2 Upper,  2 Lower)
•   M6 x 7 mm hex nuts, (12)
•   Cotton Gloves
