Configuring RADIUS set radius
25-54 Authentication Configuration
Defaults
If no parameters are specified, all RADIUS configuration information will be displayed.
Mode
Switch command, Read ‐ Only.
Example
This example shows how to display RADIUS configuration information:
Matrix(rw)->show radius
RADIUS state: Enabled
RADIUS retries: 2
RADIUS timeout: 3 seconds

set radius
Use this command to enable, disable, or configure RADIUS authentication.
Syntax
set radius {[ enable | disable ] [ retries number-of-retries ] [ timeout timeout ]
[ server { index ip-address port [ secret-value ]} [ realm { management-access |
network-access | any } { index | all }]}
Parameters

Output... What it displays...
RADIUS state Whether the RADIUS client is enabled or disabled .
RADIUS retries Number of retry attempts before the RADIUS server times out. The
default value of
3 can be reset using the set radius command as
described in “ set radius ” on page 25-54.
RADIUS timeout Maximum amount of time (in seconds) to establish contact with the
RADIUS server before retry attempts begin. The default value of
20
can be reset using the set radius command as described in “ set
radius ” on page 25-54.
RADIUS Server IP address, UDP authentication port, authentication realm type
(
management , network or any ), and status (whether or not the
RADIUS server has been configured).
enable | disable Enables or disables the RADIUS client.
retries
number-of-retries
Specifies the number of retry attempts before the RADIUS server times
out. Valid values are from 1 to 10 . Default is 3 .
