Software Update 

 

While updating the software, this symbol appears on the screen and normal operation of 
the device is not possible when this screen is displayed.  
Do not unplug Endomed 484 when this symbol is displayed on the screen! 

 

If your system requires a software update, contact your supplier to obtain a USB-stick containing 
the latest software version. Your current software version can be viewed under System Settings. To 
update your software, proceed as follows: 

•

 

Go to Systems Settings -> System Info 

•

 

Insert the USB-stick containing the firmware in the USB port on the back of the unit 

•

 

When a newer version is found on the USB-

stick the button “Press to Update” appears

 

•

 

Touch this button to start the update procedure 

•

 

During the update a progress bar will be shown 

•

 

When the update has been finished a message will be shown, mentioning that the update has 
been completed. 

•

 

To leave the update procedure select the home button 

•

 

Detach the USB-stick when the update has been completed 

 
If an error occurs during the update operation, i.e. 

“N

o updates found

”,

 this will be displayed in a 

pop-up message. 

 

Expected Service Life

 

This device will remain suitable for its intended use as long as it is subjected to yearly maintenance 
by a qualified service engineer as described in the service manual.  
The service engineer will decide whether the device is suitable for use according to the specifications. 

 

End of Life 

Your Endomed 484 contains materials which can be recycled and/or are noxious for the environment. 

 

 
 

 

 

Please ensure that you are well informed of the local rules and regulations regarding 
the removal of equipment and accessories.
