Operation
Set up
Do not use the device after extreme temperature fluctuations!
Frequently Used Functions
The Frequently Used Functions are:
•
Selecting the Clinical Protocols, Favourite and Manual Operation buttons in the touch screen.
Switch On
Before using the device, verify the patient is not in contact with the device, the electrode
connection cable, the electrodes, or other devices or metal objects.
To remove the cable from the electrode, make certain the power is off.
Switch the unit On by pushing the On/Off Button.
After switching on the device, a welcome screen will be displayed while the device performs a self-
test. At the end of the self-test the device enters the Home Menu and is ready for use.
Display Screen
The display is organized as a spreadsheet of 4 sheets, one for each channel. The channels refer to
the patient connector groups accessible at the front of the unit. A sheet can be selected by
touching its tab. The tab shows important information, such as the output amplitude and the
remaining treatment time.
[A] Device name.
[B] Navigation bar. Provides screen dependent
buttons for several functions.
[C] Screen header. Shows the name of the screen,
such as Manual Operation or the name of the
selected Clinical Protocol.
[D] Parameters are indicated with icons. When a
parameter is selected, its name appears here.
[E] Screen body. Shows the parameters of a
selected channel or, when no channels are
selected, the menu buttons.
[F] Channel tab. Used to select a channel and to
display and adjust the output amplitude of
that channel.
