Power Management Setup

This menu contains configuration options that reduce power consumption when the
system is not in use. Other “Green-PC” compliant peripherals are also supported.
Power Management allows you to configure you system to use energy most
efficiently, and still in a manner consistent with your own style of computer use.

Power Management

-

This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of

power saving and is directly related to the following modes: Doze Mode, Standby
Mode, Suspend Mode and HDD Power Down. There are three selections for Power
Management, two of which have fixed mode settings:

Min Saving

Minimum power management. Doze Mode = 1 hr. Standby Mode =
1 hr., Suspend Mode = 1 hr., and HDD Power Down = 15 min.

Max Saving

Maximum power management --

ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SL

CPUs
