Please keep the following tips and suggestions in mind if you
decide to watch Television, Movies or Look at a Computer
Display with Jordy.
1. Always ensure that your Jordy is plugged into the AC
Adapter before beginning to watch a TV show, Movie
or use a computer program. This will ensure you
always have a full charge and you may continue to
watch your show without having to verify the charge
on your battery.
2. Make sure you adhere to the compatibility guide
indicated in the previous section. The video format is
important and is required to get the best experience.
3. Check your current audio level before starting your
Movie or Television show! Prior to starting the show
double check the audio setting of your device using
the Volume/Brightness wheel of your control console
ESPECIALLY WHEN USING HEADPHONES. Jordy
volume is adjustable even when system sounds are
not audible and this should be done as a precaution to
prevent hearing damage.
4. If you are attempting to watch a movie or television
show and your device appears to keep going into
“Standby” mode. Double check your Jordy system
menu to ensure that the “Auto-Standby” feature is
turned off. This will allow uninterrupted viewing and
the best user experience. Note that when Jordy is
plugged into the AC Adapter the Auto-Standby feature
is always disabled regardless of the menu setting.
