Reading with Jordy while holding your material
Depending on how much magnification you need, there are 2
common ways to read with Jordy while holding the material:
Tip 1, Low magnification Reading
For this option, use the Jordy with the Reading Lens “OFF” the
camera and keep the zoom levels between 1 and 4. Position
your material at a comfortable reading distance. Move your
material as needed closer to the Jordy to increase
magnification. Please note that this will not work over zoom
level 4.
Note: Please be sure the camera lens is clean so your image
quality is at its best.
Tip 2, Medium to High magnification Reading
For this option use the Jordy with the Reading Lens “ON” in
front of the camera and keep the zoom levels at 5 and above.
Please note the higher the zoom level the more sensitive the
camera image will be. Hold your reading material about 4.5 to
11.5 inches” away from the Jordy so you can see the text in
focus. As one magnifies the minimum working focus distance of
the Jordy increases. It is safe to remember than the image will
always focus with the reading lens “ON” when holding your
reading material from 9 to 11.5 inches
