Con guring Event Logging
The logging service records and displays important system
information and activity on the net
f ork. The events are stored in
a memory Q uffer f ith older data over f ritten Q y ne f er f hen the
Q uffer is full.
To vie f the Log settings, click Syste \ then click Log .
Log Message List
Select Enable Logging to Syslog Server
2 lick Save to start logging information to the system.
Log Message window
Sho f s the current system operations and net f ork activity.

Save
to save the message list to a te g t le,
Clear
to discard
message from the memory Q uffer, or
Re U resh
to clear previous
messages and f rite ne f messages to the memory Q uffer.

to save changes.
