Con guring Advanced Settings
Allo f s you to de ne the Advanced Settings availa Q le on the router.
To vie f the Advanced settings, click Wireless then select Advanced .
Frag \ ent Threshold
Enter the ma g imum si i e of a packet during data transmission.
A value too lo f could lead to lo f performance.
RTS Threshold
Enter the RTS threshold. If the packet si i e is smaller than the
RTS threshold, the router does not use RTS 2 TS to send the
data packet.
Beacon Interval
Enter the Q eacon interval. This is the amount of time that the
router sets to synchroni i e the net f ork.
Delivery Tra U c Indication Message (DTIM) Period
Enter the 3 TI < period. The 3 TI < is a countdo f n period informing clients of the ne g t point
of Q roadcast and multicast of messages over the net f ork. Valid values are Q et f een 1 and 255.
N Data Rate
Select the = data rate. This is the rate in f hich the ESR Series Router f ill transmit data packets to f ireless = compati Q le devices.
