1 .

Make sure all electrical co nnectio ns are
securely so ldered.

2 .

Do  no t run wires to o  tig htly.  Allo w so me
slack in case the wires are accidentally
pulled by so meo ne servicing  the vehicle in
the future.  Remember that wires may shrink
o r break due to  impact, heat, and so  o n.

3 .

Do no t allo w wires to rub ag ainst sharp
edg es which co uld cause sho rt circuits. Use
g ro mmets when wires are run thro ug h ho les
in the car bo dy o r firewall.

4 . Pro tect and hide wires with flexible tubing o r

by wrapping with electrical tape if po ssible.
Ideally, the wires sho uld be indisting uishable
fro m the vehicle’ s facto ry wiring .

5 . Mo unt all plastic co mpo nents away fro m

so urces o f extreme heat such as the exhaust
manifo ld o r turbo charg er to prevent melting .
Also mo unt all co mpo nents away fro m areas
that receive water directly.

6 . Mo unt all co mpo nents in such a way that

they do no t impair o r interfere with the
no rmal o peratio n o f the car’ s mo ving parts.

7 .

Mo unt all co mpo nents and run all wires so
they canno t be easily reached fro m
underneath the vehicle.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

IMPORTANT: THIS ALARM IS INTENDED FOR INSTALLATION
BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS ONLY.

READ BOTH THIS MANUAL AND THE OWNERS MANUAL
COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING THE INSTALLATION

BEFORE YOU START, DONT FORGET:

1 .

Ask the custo mer where to install the LED. It
sho uld be visible fro m the rig ht and left sides
o f the car. It sho uld no t be expo sed to direct
sunlig ht.

2 .

Ask the custo mer where to  install the push-
butto n switch.  It sho uld be inco nspicuo us,
yet easy to  reach in case o f an emerg ency.

3 .

Turn the do melig ht O FF, o r remo ve the
do melig ht fuse, to  save car battery po wer
during  the installatio n.  (But turn the
do melig ht O N o r replace the fuse befo re
testing  using  current sensing.)

ALARM SYSTEM.

DISCONNECT THE FUSES FROM THE
ALARMS RED AND ORANGE WIRES BEFORE
BEGINNING THE INSTALLATION. PLUG
BACK IN ONLY AFTER THE INSTALLATION IS
DONE AND CHECKED.

TEST ALL WIRES CAREFULLY BEFORE
CUTTING OR SPLICING. TO AVOID
DAMAGING THE VEHICLES ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT, USE A TEST METER, NOT A
TEST LIGHT.

IF THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN
ANTI-THEFT RADIO OR AN AIR BAG, DO
NOT DISCONNECT THE BATTERY.
