2. Remove ZAC-AA

Starting
at the end of the sill,
depress
the cap to its downward position.
Grasp the front of the cap near the sill’s
dam and rotate it backwards towards
the interior side of the sill.
Once the end of the cap is no longer
attached to the sill, simply pull the cap
up and out of the sill.
Gasket refers to the foam sealing
pad attached to the Z-End Base.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE
THE Z-END BASE
Clean any debris out of sill channel
Remove the weatherstrip (e1) and using
a scraping tool, remove visible portion
of the foam sealing pad (gasket) from
the Z-End Base (e2).
Do no remove the
plastic Z-End Base, just the foam pad.
Carefully apply Silicon on the dam of
the sill to fill in any gaps that will be
created when installing Active Mull
Stiffener Gasket 3 in place of the
damaged Z-End Base’s Gasket
Apply new Active Mull Stiffener Gasket
3 to the Z-End Base in place of the old
gasket pad.
Reinstall weatherstrip.
Proceed to step 3
