5.8 Exhaust hose
Proceed as follows to use the exhaust hose with the genera-
tor.
The following requirements must be met:
•
Generator is ready for operation
WARNING!
Exhaust gases can cause fatal asphyxiation.
•
Provide for sufficient ventilation.
•
Use an exhaust gas hose.
•
Only operate the alternator outdoors.

Connect up the exhaust hose as follows:
1. Push the exhaust hose’s grip with the larger opening
onto the muffler’s connection.
2. Turn the exhaust hose to the right to lock it in place.
Exhaust hose is now plugged in.
