To increase measuring accuracy, predefined compensation values can be used for the compensation of the
speed of sound and acoustic density specifically for your application. The compensation values can be read
into the device from external measuring devices via Modbus TCP or entered as constant measured values
(Configuration of compensation value 1…4). The compensation values are only available if they were
provided in the data record of the concentration app upon delivery.

While values are transmitted in "big endian" format during Modbus communication, in
line with specifications, the sequence of the bytes received may have to be reversed,
depending on the system used, to convert between big endian and little endian
format.
