CODE-Open command (CO)
CO
The serial operation is opened with the CO command. (Compare to code input on
hand operation). This command must always precede the first WRITE command!
Answer codes:
0..2: o.k.
3..9: Fault
CODE-Close command (CC)
CC
The serial operation is closed with the CC command. Here the unit does a Reset,
(the same as leaving the setting up in hand operation).
Answer codes:
0..2: o.k.
3..9: Fault
READ command (R)
R<Position>
Using the R command operation and display addresses of the unit can be read out.
It answers with an answer code and the parameters as shown in the display.
Answer codes:
0..2:
o.k.
3..7:
Fault, only the answer code is transmitted.
0:
Address can be edited.
1:
Address can be “activated”.
2:
Address cannot be edited.
3:
Address does not exist.
4:
Option for this address not available.
5:
Address not used at this moment in time.
6:
Address not accessible using serial interface.
7:
Parameter length wrong.
Example for the R command: Read out unit identification
To unit:
SOH 01 STX R1000 ETX BCC
From unit:
SOH 01 STX 0 unit identification ETX BCC
The return code 0 can only appear if operation via serial interface has been opened
(see WRITE command).
WRITE Command (W)
W<Address>
Using the W command parameters in an operating address can be changed.
In order to change a parameter both operation and manual setting up must be
opened using the release code. Serial interface operation can only be done if the unit
is not being operated manually.
Operation is aborted if an incorrect release code (see code command) is transmitted
by the serial link.
