20 mA setpoint:
This function allocates a basin depth to the 20mA signal. The function is dependent on the measuring
mode set. If you select the "LEVEL" measuring mode, the 20mA setting should lie within the min. and
Max. ranges. The set value shows the level at which the system produces 20mA (usually in the vicinity
of the sensor but preferably no nearer than 30cm).
If you select the "RANGE" measuring mode, the 20mA setting should lie within the min. and max.
ranges. The set value shows the level at which the system produces 20mA (usually near the basin
bottom).
Setting range: 0 ... 100 m
Trim 4 mA:
Offset the reference value at 4mA from a reference measurement. This defines a measured variable
as a reference value; the remaining measured variables have a linear offset.
Setting range: 0 ... 100
Trim 20 mA:
Calibrate the reference value at 4mA from a reference measurement. This defines a measured
variable as a reference value; the remaining measured variables have a linear offset.
Setting range: 0 ... 100

6.7.2 RELAYS
submenu
Four relays are integrated in the transmitter. Each of these relays can be assigned to any sensor, or all
of the relays to one particular sensor.
If all the relays are assigned to one sensor, up to four contacts an be assigned using the available
functions. When you select the RELAYS menu, a list containing the defined measuring points/sensors
appears.
ON / OFF:
Activate (ON) or deactivates (OFF) relays 1 ... 4.
Setting range: ON / OFF
Level:
Assign the measured variable to the relays.
Assign to:
Switch the relays to a particular sensor. If you want to switch a relay to a sensor, enter "1". If you want
to switch three relays to a sensor, enter "3".
Setting range: 1 ... 4
Operation:
Define the switching condition of the relay. The reference point is the reference value.
Setting range: <= less than or equal to, >= greater than or equal to
Action:
Select whether the relay should switch to NO or NC contact mode on entry.
Setting range: OPEN / CLOSED
