Function:
The MODIFY OUTPUTS menu controls analogue outputs, serial outputs, the relay contact function
and sensor rinsing.
6.7.1 4-20mA
submenu
Configure the analogue output. The displayed measuring units correspond to the "Units" selected in the
SYSTEM SETUP. When you select the 4-20mA menu, a list containing the defined measuring points/
sensors appears.
4 mA setpoint:
This function allocates a basin depth to the 4mA signal.
The function is dependent on the measuring mode set.
If you select the "LEVEL" measuring mode, the 4mA setting should lie within the min. and max. ranges.
The set value shows the level (usually near the basin bottom) at which the system
produces 4mA. Enter a valid basin depth in the "MODIFY POINTS" menu.
If you select the "RANGE" measuring mode, the 4mA setting should lie within the min. and Max.
ranges. The set value shows the level at which the system produces 4mA (usually in the vicinity of the
sensor but preferably no nearer than 30cm).
Setting range: 0 ... 100 m
