Installation
It is preferred to place the regulator on vibration isolating separators. If placed in a closed cabinet, there must
be sufficient ventilation, because of the produced heat. The regulator may be placed directly in the generator.
The connection is according to the diagram for the appropriate application. The connections LH1, LH2 and
LH3 are the power supply terminals. They are electrically connected with the +/-, S/T and X1/X2 terminals of
the regulator. The measurement U, V and W are electrically isolated from the other terminals. Therefore it is
possible to connect LH1, LH2 and LH3 to a separate power supply. This supply must be switched of when
the generator is stopped, eg. when used in rotating convertors. The terminals S and T are for an external
potmeter for voltage adjustment. If not connected, these terminals may be shortened with the dip switch S
and T on the printed cardboard.
The terminals X1 and X2 are for connecting the optional droop-kit for parallel operation.
Adjustment
V oltage
The potmeter V is for adjusting the generator voltage. This potmeter is factory set to 400 V with S and T
connected (dip switch S and T on). If the desired generator voltage must be much less, the potmeter V must
be turned completely counterclockwise before starting up.
If the arranged generator voltage is 230 V, you have to set the dip switch 400/230 V in on position.
