2. To install the Decorative Glass, cut off a corner of the plastic
bag and proceed to apply the glass to the rear shelf on the
Loft burner (area behind the burner). Apply only enough glass
to the Top Cover to cover the black metal surfaces. Do not
allow the glass to fall around the burner tube. See Figures 20
to 22. Apply the remaining decorative glass to the front sloped
surface of the Top Cover. Start by placing the glass along the
front edge of the top cover, then gradually place the glass
up the sloped top until completely covered. Do not allow the
glass to fall around the burner tube. See Figure 21.
CAUTION
Glass must not be placed around the ends of the Loft burn -
er assembly that would restrict air flow, or cover the gas
valve.
3. Replace the glass front into the fireplace by placing the right
side into the slots in the firebox. Carefully angle in the left side
of the glass and then slide the glass to the left. Settle the glass
into the slots by gently lowering it.
