8.2 Sending an email during alarm notification

Hint: It is also possible to setup the e-mail option using the web interface of the
recorder. Setting up the e-mail option using the web interface is usually faster and
easier. Once the settings have been saved using the web interface, the settings will be
saved to the surveillance recorder itself.

1. Make sure the surveillance recorder is completely started and you see the

surveillance recorder’s image on screen.

2. Click ‘

Start’

.

3. Fill out the password you have set during the wizard and click ‘

Login’

. Leave the

password field empty when there is no password or the wizard has not been used
and click ‘

Login’

.
