Chapter 7 System Operation And Maintenance

This chapter expounds the system operation and maintenance of the Liebert.CRV+ air-cooled series air conditioner,

including system self-diagnosing test, and maintenance of filter, fan kit, electrode humidifier, electrical heater, drain

system and refrigerant system.

Risk of electric shock. Can cause injury or death.

Disconnect local and remote power supplies before working within.

Before proceeding with installation, read all instructions, verify that all the parts are included and check the

nameplate to be sure the voltage matches available utility power.

Follow all local codes.

7.1 Routine Maintenance And Inspection(monthly)

Components listed below are required to be checked or inspected monthly, mainly on functionality and wearing

symptoms. The inspection items are shown in Table 7-1.

Check the suction pressure

Check the discharge pressure

Check refrigerant pipes for sign of leaks

Check the moisture condition in system through the sight glass

Check the electronic expansion valve

Heating system

Check the re-heater operation

Check the erosion situation of the components

7.2 Routine Maintenance And Inspection (Half yearly)

Half yearly check the items as shown in Table 7-2.
