Redundant Power Supply Sequencer Module (RPSSM) 

 Caution

 

Should a power supply fail, you must use a replacement supply that has 
an identical bracket assembly (black anodize or gold irridite). The RPSSM 
must have one power supply with each type of assembly or it will not 
function. You cannot have two black anodize power supplies installed or 
two gold irridite supplies installed on the same RPSSM. 

 

 

 

To remove one of the power supplies, first turn the power supply’s 
ON/OFF switch 

off

 (the down position, as shown in 

Figure P-9

). Loosen 

the plastic screw either by hand or with a Phillips screwdriver. Grasp the 
bracket and gently pull the power supply straight out of the assembly.

To re-insert the power supply, grasp the bracket and line up the board 
with the grooves in the assembly. Gently slide the card into the RPSSM 
until it inserts into the connector. Gently tighten the screw either by hand 
or with a Phillips screwdriver. Now turn the On/Off switch 

on
