The fan comes with blue, black and white leads
that are 80-inches long. Before installing the fan,
measure up approximately 6 to 9-inches above top
of hanger ball/downrod assembly. Cut off excess
leads and strip back insulation 1/2-inch from end
of leads.

Position the bottom styrofoam section on a flat
surface exposing the large center hole for fan
motor placement. Place the partially assembled
fan motor hosing into the hole so that the bottom
of the motor is facing up (Figure 5). the styrofoam
section will hold the assembly while you perform
the following steps.

It is critical that the pin in the hanger ball is properly
installed and the setscrews securely tightened.
Failure to verify that the pin and setscrews are
properly installed could result in the fan falling.

Position the two rods of the preassembled fan
blade into the two holes of the housing center
band. Install the four #10-24 x 15mm flat head
screws (2 pre rod, 4 per blade assembly)
(supplied) securing the fan blade to the housing
(Figure 6). Install the remaining four fan blades
using the same procedure.

Connect the switch housing blue wire single-pin
connector to the black wire single-pin connector
from the light kit assembly; connect the switch
housing white wire single-pin connector to the
white wire single-pin connector from the light kit
assembly (Figure 7). Be sure all wire connectors
are fully engaged.
CAUTION: Before installing and tightening the
screws, be sure there are no wires pinched
between the switch housing and the light kit
assembly.

Make sure all wires and single-pin connectors are
inside the switch housing, then position the light
kit assembly on the switch housing so that the
pan head screws protrude through the keyhole
slots in the light kit assembly. Turn the light kit
assembly clockwise to engage the slots.
14.
Place the three #8-32 x 12mm pan head screws
and lockwashers (supplied) to secure the light kit
assembly to the switch housing (Figure 8).
