CHECKING THE PIPE CONNECTIONS FOR GAS LEAKING
For both the indoor and outdoor unit side, check the joints for gas leaking by the use of a gas leakage detector
without fail when the pipes are connected.
HEAT INSULATION ON THE PIPE JOINTS
Put coupler heat insulator on the joints (indoor side only)
ADDITIONAL CHARGE
Refrigerant suitable for a pipe length of 5 m. is charged in the outdoor unit at the factory. Refrigerant suitable for a
pipe length of 5 m. is charged in the outdoor unit at the factory. Refrigerant suitable for a pipe length of 5 m. is
charged in the outdoor unit at the factory.

Between 5 m. and 10m., when using a connection pipe other than that in a table, charge additional refrigerant

CAUTION
(1) ! When moving and installing the air conditioner, do not mix gas other than the specific refrigerant the refrigerant
cycle.
(2) When adding refrigerant, add the refrigerant from the charging port at the completion of work.
(3) The maximum length of the piping is 10 m. If the units are further apart than this, consult manufacture or proper
installation.
GAS LEAKAGE INSPECTION

After the connecting the piping, check the joints for gas leakage with gas leak detector.
