For correct use of the machine and to avoid accidents, do not
start working until you have read this manual carefully. You will
find explanations concerning the operation of the various parts
plus instructions for necessary checks and relative
maintenance.
NOTE: The descriptions and illustrations contained in this
manual are not binding. The manufacturer reserves the
right to undertake any modifications it deems necessary
without revising this manual.
In addition to the operating instructions, this manual contains
paragraphs that require your special attention. Such
paragraphs are marked with the symbols described below:
WARNING!: where there is a risk of accident or personal,
even fatal, injury or serious damage to property.
CAUTION: where there is a risk of damaging the machine or its

DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE AND FIELD OF USE
This machine is a gardening tool, specifically a portable
trimmer with a battery-powered electric motor, intended for
non-professional use.
The machine essentially consists of a motor that drives a
cutting device consisting of a string holder head.
The user can operate the main controls while always keeping a
safe distance from the cutting device.
Intended use
This machine has been designed and manufactured for cutting
grass and non-woody vegetation, using a nylon string (e.g. on
the edges of flowerbeds, plantations, walls, fences, or green
spaces with limited surface area, to finish the cut made with a
lawnmower).
Misuse
Any other use, differing from those mentioned above, can be
hazardous and cause damage to persons and/or things. The
following fall under misuse (by way of example, but not limited to):
-
using the machine for sweeping;
-
trimming hedges or other work in which the cutting device
is not used at ground level;
- using the machine with the cutting device above the
operator's belt line;
-
using the machine for cutting materials of non-vegetable
origin;
-
using the machine by more than one person;
-
chopping up composting material;
- using cutting devices other than those listed in the
“Recommended cutting devices” table. Risk of serious
injury or damage.
Misuse of the machine shall void the warranty and
manufacturer’s liability, leaving the user liable for costs deriving
from damage or injury to the user or to others.

27. Do not dispose of electrical equipment together with

separately, in order to be reused in an environmentally-
friendly manner. If electrical equipment is disposed of in a
landfill or soil, pollutants can reach the groundwater and
enter the food chain, damaging your health and well-
being. For more details on the disposal of this product,
contact the competent authority for the disposal of
household waste or your dealer.
ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE! Do not discard spent
batteries with household waste. Dispose of the battery
separately from the machine. Dispose of the battery in
compliance with locally applicable prescriptions.
