Jointing Instruction

elson BUSHPEX Pull-On

Immediately insert the 

expanded pipe end into the 

fi�ng un�l it reaches the last 

and largest ridge. Note the 

pipe contracts over �me due 

to the PEX memory effect.

Slide  the  join�ng  sleeve  to 

the fi�ng. Posi�on the tool 

jaws squarely on and in line 

with the outer face of the 

sleeve and the fi�ng collar.

tep is for either manual 

ratchet tool or for hydralic ba�ery 
tool. )

Ac�vate  the  compression 

process with either the 

manual ratchet tool or the 

hydraulic  ba�ery  tool  un�l 

the sleeve reaches the fi�ng 

collar.

Inspect every joint to ensure 

the process is correct and 

complete. The sleeve must 

be  square  with  the  fi�ng. 

The  joint  must  be  fully 

compressed.

Pressure  test  the  installa�on  in  accordance  with 

AS/NZS 3500.
