Instructions to adjust the cut
Elmot 026 clippers has four adjustable lengths: 1.0 /1.3/1.6/1.9 mm.
Slide the lever

) upwards towards the blade in order to adjust the cutting
length and cut hair shorter
.
Press the release button

) and move the lever downwards to cut longer
hair
.
When cutting close to the ears, you are advised to use
your hand to protect your ear against injury.
MAINTENANCE
GENERAL CLEANING
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains socket before cleaning.
Avoid all risk of electric shock by not cleaning the appliance
with water and do not immerse it in water.
Do not use abrasive solutions or concentrated detergents.
• Clean the exterior with a soft cloth or slightly damp cloth.
• After use, make sure that all parts are completely dry.
Removing the cutting head
•
Turn off the appliance and remove the power adaptor from the mains socket

•
Remove the guide comb in compliance with the instructions reported in “Using
without the guide comb.“
•
Keep the appliance with the display facing upwards.
•
Press the centre part of the head downwards

) using your thumb until it
has opened (fig.

); then extract it from the appliance.
•
Take care not to drop the head.
Blade block cleaning
•
Remove the head

), as indicated in the paragraph “Removing the cutting
head.”
•
Using the supplied brush

), remove hair:
– from the internal part of the appliance (fig.

);
– from the ends of the blade (fig.

);
– from between the fixed blade

: to lift the blade apply
downward pressure on the cleaning lever

• Apply two/three drops of lubricating oil

and mobile blade (fig.

Cutting head assembly
Position the cutting adjustment height to 1.9 mm before hooking the
head onto the appliance.
•
Make sure that the cutting height adjustment lever is set to 1.9 mm; if otherwise,
place the lever in the correct position before assembling the cutting head onto
the appliance (fig.
F
).
• Place the special assembling hook into its compartment situated on the appliance.
•
Push the head downwards and click the unit into its correct position (fig.
F
).
Lubrication
It is recommended to lubricate the blade unit daily or after every use.
To maintain perfect performance of the appliance over time, you are required to clean
the blade regularly (paragraph “Blade block cleaning”) and proceed with lubrication.
• Remove the cutting head as indicated in the paragraph “Removing the cutting
head.”
• Clean the blade block as indicated in the paragraph “Blade block cleaning”.
