7.3 Repair/ service

DANGER

Danger to life from touching live parts!

Touching of live parts cause serious injuries or death.

Ø

Before starting any repair work, disconnect the machine by actuation of the main
switch or disconnection of the plug and secure it against unexpected restart.

Ø

Repair works are only allowed to be done by authorised specialists.

For repairs contact the manufacturer, its branch offices or authorised dealers.
Please contact the manufacturer for the address of the authorized service centre (see manufacturer's ad-
dress at the rear side).

WARNING

Risk of injury due to substances hazardous to health!

Due to contamination with hazardous substances and operating agents during opera-
tion, there is a high health risk for the repair personnel.

Ø

For each machine that is sent to an Elmo Rietschle Service centre for inspection,
maintenance or repair, a fully completed, signed declaration of harmlessness must
be enclosed.
The Declaration of No Objection is part of the supplier's documentation.

Ø

Before returning, properly clean the machine.

After a repair or re-commissioning, the actions listed in chapter 5 “Installation” and chapter 6 “Commission -
ing and decommissioning” are to be performed as in the first commissioning.
